The Finland Organization is introducing different fields of tutorial courses aimed at providing young men and women with formal, scientific, international certificates to help them in the future. The courses are practical for life, especially in these difficult conditions we are facing.
The Road magazine met Hussam Omera, who is a field officer in the Finland Organization, he told us, “We are introducing tutorial courses in Districts Four and Eight in Za’atari Camp. In district Four we will introduce English courses to males and females for advanced and beginner levels. In addition, we will offer circus games and other activities in music.” He continued, “We are working on establishing other courses in the future, for example, handiworks for females. They will be called “Reviving the Syrian Heritage. It is through embroidery works of Horani style, particular to Dara’a people, due to their big numbers here in the camp.” He added, “As for the courses in District Eight, we will introduce courses in English and other ones for inter- national computer driving lessons (ICDL) for males and females. Also we will have some specific training for females in football.” He denoted that all trainers are well qualified specialists with academic certificates. Finally, he mentioned that there are some difficulties in convincing young men to come and learn. “Our center provides a new chance for life and we hope that all people can benefit and have a more constructive future.”
