The Norwegian School has worked with schoolboys who dropped out of school for a long time. Soon it will come back again to working regularly in Za’atari Camp. They announced that the applications for the second term will start on 17/1/2016. There will be two programs: first, The Accelerated Teaching; for the ages 8-12 years; second, The Spatial Program; for ages 13-15 years. To join these programs, students have to go to the Norwegian School in its space in District 10.

Mouath Omera, who is in charge of field surveying at the Norwegian School, said “We are introducing a chance for pupils disconnected from school. We start with a test for level measuring so that we can determine which grade a pupil deserves. This test is deter- mined by the Ministry of Education in Jordan.” He also explained, “All teachers for all grades are Syrians. After rehabilitating these pupils we send them back to regular schools. Regrettably, we have low turnout, especially by female pupils.

He added, “It is remarkable that there are some brilliant students. It is erroneous to remain disconnected from school because learning is the safest way for a good future. We welcome all applicants every time they come.”
